What is happening in Israel has been on my mind a lot lately. I realize that Israel is central in the end times before Jesus returns. The return of Jesus is exciting for me, but there is another side of it for me as to what is happening.
Innocent children have been kidnapped and held hostage. Innocent children have been beheaded. Women have been brutalized. People are dying from bombings. The human suffering is tragic and deeply saddening. The threat of the conflict widening concerns me.
It can leave one wondering what one can do. One thing I can do is to pray for the innocent victims to be freed, pray for peace, and pray for Israel. This may sound crazy, but I can also pray for the terrorists. Jesus taught us to pray for our enemies. Though they are not my enemies personally, it seems they still fit in with Jesus’s teaching to pray for them.
If we are indeed approaching the end times and the return of Jesus, one thing that is vitally important is to share the love of Jesus with others and to pray for them. I want everyone to be ready for the return of Jesus.
This is a short post today to simple ask you to join me in praying about what is happening.

It’s so sad what’s happening there. I truly hope they find a way to peacefully resolve their issues. The people effected most are innocent children and civilians, not the politicians causing the problems.
I agree with you prayer is needed. I am praying for the end of violence, the release of hostages, provision for the homeless, and peace. 🙏🌺

Yes, we can also pray that the eyes of the terrorists’ hearts would be opened, that the lies of the enemy would be exposed and the truth of Christ would shine with unmistakable clarity.

Matt, I found it very encouraging to pray II Chronicles 20: 1-33 over Israel. I also read Nehemiah chapters 1-5 while keeping my focus on what is happening currently.
