At the coffee shop Sunday, they gave me a mug to use that is symbolic of something that my blog posts about coffee have done. A fellow blogger, Cynthia of The Godly Princess at cynthiaswarroom.home.blog. messaged me that she has begun to have fun going to coffee shops because of reading my coffee shop posts. So the mug is truly symbolic. π
My preference is locally owned coffee shops. Starbucks in my mind is the evil empire that I only patronize if there is nowhere else to go. By hanging out at locally owned coffee shops, it makes for a more personal feel to the experience and also helps the local economy.
One thing I love about hanging out at the coffee shop is when God arranges a Divine Appointment for me to have a conversation with someone. A few weeks ago for example. I had a meaningful conversation with a young woman who grew up Catholic and is now agnostic. At the end of our conversation, I encouraged her that if she wants to know if Jesus is for real, she can ask him to show her. I have been praying for her every morning since for God to bring someone across her path in life that will talk about Jesus.
I realize many of my readers embrace the fufu fluffy drinks that are in reality repurposed sodas like the frappes, lattes etc. As for me your coffee purist, dark roast black coffee is the way to go no milk or sugar.
So take it from me, if you want a relaxing afternoon or evening on a weekend or weekday, head to a locally owned coffee shop.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
I do enjoy local coffee shops, especially those that roast their own beans in house!
Yes the ones who roast their onw beans are great
I love the local coffee shops we have here π
They are wonderful π
Hi dad π
You were so right to tell that lady that if she wanted to know if Jesus is real she can ask Him. That’s what I did. Except, well, I really didn’t know that I was asking Jesus. I didn’t understand the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I just wanted to know if Gof was real. So I prayed that if he were real He would show me. And He has many many times by being ever present in my life and helping me along my path. π
Thanks for sharing. It’s always a pleasure to sit and drink tea with you. I do have my tea. I’m having nettle tea. It’s healthy. No frappes or whatchamacalits for me, Dad.
Love you! β€ Enjoy your coffee, coffee shops and week.
I rejoice you asked God to show he is real and you became his little daughter. Nettle tea hmm ok for you π
Love you too sweet daughter β€οΈ
Would you like some nettle tea? ππ€£π It’s good. It’s really grassy tasting.. ππ€£ππ€£

Fun and interesting
How are you?
Ys, it is fun and exciting, especially when people seeing you read your Bible and start asking questions. I am doing ok.
I am glad you are ok.
I like Starbucks but we do not have any where I live. It is good to support the local economy
Local coffee shops help understand the area a person lives in
That is so true
You can start a coffee shop π€
Good idea π‘ π
Locally owned are the best!! βοΈ
Yes they are. If I ever have the opportunity to visit out there in the wild west, you and Nathan can take me to one there. π
We certainly will!
My wife and I have a couple of homegrown coffee shops we visit. Wow! Now you have an “official” title to go along with your coffee-inspired outreach to others. Of course, all of the glory goes to God.
Yes all glory to God for making me a coffee coach π
