First a picture from yesterday of me drinking iced coffee not hot coffee because we had SPRING WEATHER 🙂

This morning will be yet another appointment with another doctor not knowing if I will have an answer or not. Today for me D-Day represents a few things beyond D for doctor.
Discovery? Will there be a discovery or diagnosis or will nothing show up yet?
Disease? What is going on? I don’t know.
Delay? Will today just be another day of not being sure so come back in a few months?
Depend- Whatever today brings, I will continue to depend on God for my present and future and to give me the strength to continue serving him.
Delight- Whatever this day brings, I hope to continue to delight in Jesus and the wonderful opportunities he gives me to show his love to people from all over the world.
So it will be a day that begins with breakfast with a friend who will give me a ride to the Rheumatologist, a long appointment with the doctor, and lunch and a ride home with another friend. Then I will prepare for my class to finish this evening, go downtown to teach, and just go about business as usual.
Today will also be a day to remember a lesson I have shared with many about Jesus. In Exodus when Moses asked God what his name was, God answered I AM. In John 8 when Jesus was talking with the religious leaders about Abraham, Jesus said:
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
They got his point. Jesus was saying that he is the eternal I AM- God. We know this because the religious leaders tried to stone him.
Jesus is the great I AM. He is the eternally present. He does not have the boundaries of time. He created time for us to live in, but he is not bound by it. That means he is already in our future right now. He knows our future because he is there already,
So today I will remember that Jesus already knows the results of today before I go. He already knows what will happen today, next week, next month, next year in my life. He has called me to show his love to people from all over the world living in my city and that honor does not go away just because I have health issues.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
