A line in this song is such a wonderful thought to hold on to:
“Even a million scars doesn’t change whose you are.”
Whatever we have gone through in life, whatever mistakes and failures we have had, whatever hardships we have been through, whatever we have been victims of, those things leave scars.
But the scars do not change the fact that God loves us. Our scars do not change the fact that Jesus wants to come into our lives and bring healing. Our scars do not mean that we have no worth. We have great worth because God loves us and wants to call us his own.
Think of any difficulty in life:
Depression
Anxiety
Addiction
Family Problems
Past Abuse
Health Struggles
Our scars do not change whose we are. We are God’s creation and through his Son Jesus he offers us adoption into his family. As it says in John 1:
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”
God gives us the right to become his children through Jesus. Our scars do not change whose we are. 🙂
I hope this song blesses you and much or more than it blessed me. Thank you for reading. God Bless.
