I treated myself to some early Christmas presents last week. Well, at least that is what I am telling myself.

I love coffee. I drink it every day. So I ordered a Love Justice coffee mug. It was only $10 and proceeds go to help Love Justice fight human sex trafficking. In the mornings when I drink my coffee, I will have a reminder to pray for Love Justice.

I also ordered a One Girl Prayer bracelet. I don’t wear bracelets myself 🙂 lol

But by ordering it, I commit to pray for a girl Love Justice has rescued. I keep the prayer bracelet and the card that comes with it close to where I have my morning times with Jesus.

These two simple gifts have a lot of meaning for me because they represent the Gospel of Jesus being shared with victims of trafficking. That is what Christmas is really all about, sharing the love of Jesus and the gospel message.

There are so many simple ways to keep Jesus at the center of the holidays. What are some of yours?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. Those are nice gifts you purchased. I think keeping the focus where it should be and not getting too overwhelmed with material things is a great way to keep Christ first during the holidays. Also being sensitive to others since the holidays are a difficult time for many.

  2. Thanks my brother for sharing. Very great way to keep Christ in Christmas.

I want to make the highlight of my Christmas be serving others. Just as God gave the gift of His Son, I will use my presence as a gift to serve others. Christ himself did not come to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45). Christmas can be a very self-centered time, and serving others provides us an opportunity to think about and meet the needs of others. I plan on serving others this Christmas by visiting a girls home in my neighbour, read the Christmas story to them. Also give a gift to an orphan child.

  3. what beautiful gifts, helping others………as always you have such a generous heart.

      1. you are so very welcome.

  4. For a number of years I’ve been helping at a Blue Christmas service. It’s a service for people that are hurting during the holidays. Many people that attend have lost a love one, so the service is prayerful and peaceful. It help me center on Jesus.

    1. Wonderful ministry you are involved in 🙂

  5. What a great idea. I love the thought of making the everyday vessels in our possession, to take on a greater meaning – reminder to pray for those who are hurting. Great early Christmas presents for you and for those for whom you are praying. ♥

  6. What a beautiful ministry to support! The problem of human trafficking is so much worse and so much more evil than most people know. So many people in power are involved from Presidents, Congressman, cops, judges, and famous Hollywood people to the Dutch and English royals and the banker power families. Epstein was murdered because he knew too much and there are powerful people involved that don’t want their secrets told. That is one deep dark rabbit hole of evil and I pray the Lord puts a stop to it all. Praise God for ministries that fight that darkness and rescue people! Amen to keeping Jesus the center of Christmas too! God bless!

  7. I enjoy Christmas 🎄 caroling 🎶 to shut-ins.
