“The wonderful thing about praying is that you leave a world of not being able to do something, and enter God’s realm where everything is possible. He specializes in the impossible. Nothing is too great for His almighty power. Nothing is too small for His love” Corrie Ten Boom
Corrie Ten Boom spent time in a Nazi Concentration Camp with her sister who died in the camp. She experienced the horrors of living in lice infested conditions, terrible food, rampant sickness, and abuse by the guards.
Her life experience makes this quote of hers all the more powerful.
Think about this part of her quote- “enter God’s realm where everything is possible.” She experienced God’s realm while suffering in this life and yet in her suffering she experienced the presence of God.

There have been times that I felt I was in God’s presence so deeply that time seemed to stop. One time many years ago when I was very sick, I spent some time in prayer listening to Michael Card’s song Immanuel. It felt like I was in God’s presence for hours, but it was only 4 minutes of the song.
With God, all things are possible. When we pray, we are talking with the one who created all of the universe.
Entering his presence is because of Jesus. Hebrews 10 says:
“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,”
Let’s remember that we do not enter because of our own merit. We enter because of Jesus.
