A friend of mine who lives in France shared this post on Facebook. It was from a church. I loved it and wanted to share it with you with a few thoughts for each point.

Hang out with sinners- Jesus did and said he came to seek and save the lost. Jesus sought out “sinners”. My hope is to reflect the love of Jesus to those who are far from Jesus.

Upset religious people- At times in church I remind people that we too are saved by grace especially when they judge others.

Tell stories that make people think- Jesus spoke in parables. I hope my blog posts are understandable, but I do enjoy writing story time posts. 🙂

Choose unpopular friends- Refugees are not so popular, but I love being with them. At church I am not necessarily part of the in crowd, but I don’t care. I just want to follow Jesus.

Be kind, loving and merciful- My prayer each morning is for Jesus to help me show his love. I fail, but I want to keep praying and trying to show his love.

Take Naps on Boats- Well not on a boat, but I do LOVE naps. 🙂

Thanks to my friend Jim in France for sharing the post on Facebook.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. It was good, wasn’t it!

    Sent from my iPad

  2. What fun! A refreshing look at – What would Jesus do?

  3. Love this post, bro. Taking naps on boats–that’s cute. 😊

    1. 🙂
Do you want to take naps on boats? 🙂

      1. lol. That sounds okay. 😀 I used to love ferry rides. Other than that I haven’t really been on too many boats. 🙂

  4. Perfect list, including taking naps on boats!

  5. I like this list. “Choose unpopular friends” stood out to me because I have never been part of the “in crowd” and never felt the need to be. I’ve seen many people feel rejected at church just because they aren’t part of a certain group. We have to open our hearts to who God places around us. I’m thankful for the chance to meet people who are genuine regardless of their social status or background.

    1. I like how you think little sister ❤️❤️❤️

  6. 🙂 🙂 🙂 great post; ‘hang out sinners’. wow,,, great reminder

  7. These are interesting goals. I think that the first one can be controversial in that some people use the narrative “Jesus hung out with sinners” as a justification for hanging out with unbelievers. Jesus indeed did hang up with sinners but He did so because He had an ulterior motive, He didn’t just hang out with sinners because He liked their company. Jesus hung out with sinners so He could make them Saints. The question as Believers that we need to ask ourselves is, do we hang out with sinners because we want to make them Saints or do we hang out with Sinners because we can’t stand the Saints?

    1. so true and important to remember that we hang out with sinners because we want them to know Jesus

  8. Apt!. I might not do the nap on the boat though. 😂

Loved more the place of “offending the religious”. Christianity is showing God loves us and wants us all in His fold. And yes we also were saved by Grace. We can’t afford to choose who or sect of people to preach to. Christ died for us ” all”. And He has sent us out as “Lights”! Just as Jesus also was.

    1. Amen. We are called to share Jesus with all people not just ones we like

      1. Yes bro. Absolutely!.
May God revive His church! 🙏😪

  9. In perfect timing! I’d been getting on myself about napping when I “should’ve” been productive. Thank you for the reminder.

  10. When we share with others, we all have an opportunity to experience growth. Thank you for sharing.

    1. So true there is a reciprocal blessing 😀
