I had been praying about my schedule and how it affects my fatigue from chronic illness. I prayed about it again Sunday morning during worship. My schedule for twenty years had been as follows:

Monday to Thursday- Wake up 6:30am- Leave home 7:45-Prepare and Teach 8 to 11am-appointments with people in the afternoons-prepare and teach 6 to 9:30pm- return home 10pm. By the time Friday came along with only a morning class, I had time to relax, but the past five years that usually meant a power nap.

This week something unexpected came my way. I was asked to teach a Family Literacy Class at a high school 5:15 to 7:15 in the early evenings. Suddenly, my evening schedule will be SO much easier. I will be home about 7:30 the evenings I teach the class.

The change happened all via email in less than a day.

No loss of income, easier evening schedule, able to relax in the evenings, prayer answered. Isaiah 46:4 has been on my mind a lot regarding my situation:

“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”

I am not that old yet, but I do have gray hair 🙂 God is looking out for me.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
