I love the lyrics in I Give Up by Laura Story. They express so well that following Jesus in this life is a lifelong process of giving up things, seeking the Father’s heart, and having new starts.
I am still experiencing this after rededicating my life to Jesus in 1989. For 32 years, it has been an adventure but not always easy. Even this summer I felt him showing me to give up teaching U.S. Citizenship classes that I enjoyed, but an even better blessing was in story for me.
