My apologies to bloggers I follow. I have not kept up this week. But the weekend is coming, so there are posts to catch up on.

Where has this week gone?

It has been a week of meetings, prepping my classroom, teaching online, and of course the doctor Wednesday afternoon. A guy could use a nap. lol

It is so good to be back in the swing of things. There is a fun energy to the start of a school year. I just wish my evening online classes had finished before my morning class starts. 🙂

When my evening online class started, I did not need to have a light on. Sunlight came in my window. Last night, I turned on my light at 7pm. One sign of fall checked off.

When I went to the clinic in Omaha, the coffee shop was selling pumpkin spice lattes. Another sign of fall checked off.

Fall is coming. It is my favorite time of year with my class in full swing, cooler weather, and fall sports.

    Hey Matt! I’ve been a bit behind on reading the blogs I follow too. My school has almost 400 more kids than last year!

    My favorite season is fall as well. I love the crisp (but not frigid) air and the beautiful 🍁 leaves.

        We are the largest school in our district with almost 1300 students.

        Pre-K – 5 At least 4 classes per grade, with some as many as 10.

        About 1/3 of the students were virtual learners last school year. Almost everyone decided to come back to in person learning.

    Spring is beautiful. I’m in Africa so we only have two seasons. I can’t wait to see snow one time. For now my favorite season is the Rainy Season, and it’s Raining now, I love soaking in rain 🥰🥰

    I too have fallen behind (pun intended). Blessings to you as your work kicks into a different gear. I love the autumn air and the thought of pumpkin spiced everything. LOL

    We are finally having some cooler days and nights. I love Fall, the crisp air, and autumn colors. However, each season has something I look forward to.🍁🌷🌺

      Autumn is my fav because of the cooler weather and colors. Summer for me is all of the fruit.

    My week had three unexpected interruptions but they all involved needed time with friends so it was good. The change, though, always puts me behind. Today is a seizure day for Aaron with lots of laundry, etc., so here we go. And by the way, I am always behind on blog reading…hopelessly behind. Have a restful weekend, Matt.

    You were quite occupied. I was a little occupied when the week just begun but squeezed in some time to scroll down the wordpress reader(like I did now)
    Fortunately or rather unfortunately, there are no seasons in Africa, it’s either rainy or sunny.
