So after three months of no doctors, which feels like a personal record for me, today is the day for my rheumatology appointment. My friend Todd will give me a ride. I never know what they will do and how I will feel after, so a ride is a good thing.

I have not seen her since my mini episodes of two minor heart procedures, bout of pericarditis, bout of pneumonia, so it will be an interesting appointment. I always wonder if it will just be routine blood test and follow up exam or if more tests will ordered.

It is a day sandwiched between two interesting days. Yesterday I had lunch with a Counseling Pastor from a church here in Lincoln to discuss my book Jesus Understands Trauma, more on that in a future post. Tomorrow I will have lunch with the Lead Pastor from my church.

But today it is off to see the rheumatologist driving up the interstate no yellow brick road. 🙂

This has become routine for me getting poked and prodded. When they ask where one has pain, they seem to like to move and touch that joint.

I look forward to the day that Jesus either takes me home to heaven or comes for us because then there will be no more pain. Until then more people need to hear about Jesus.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
