It is the last day of the month, so to keep myself accountable, that is the day I will update on my blog about donating from my books. A few weeks ago, I donated $100 to our local Royal Family Kids Camp, which is a ministry for children who have suffered abuse.

Royal Family Kids Camp gives children one week of summer camp where they are loved and hear about Jesus. There is also an ongoing weekly meeting for the children. It is a wonderful ministry with many locations in the United States. The website is- Royal Family Kids Camp.

In both of my books, Jesus Understands Trauma and Lifted Out of the Pit/Called to the Nations, I share that I will be donating $1 for each book sold to a ministry or organization that helps people who have suffered trauma. With the first weeks being a soft launch, the sales have not been much yet, so the money I donated was a projected amount for royalties. The final amount was actually $102.95, so I will add that extra $2.95 to the amount at the end of July for one more donation to Royal Family Kids Camp.

My goals for doing so each month are to help ministries that help victims of trauma and also to raise awareness of those ministries.

By the way, I am working on a fiction book and have shared the manuscript with a few people to get their feedback.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

      1. You’re welcome ☺️. My oldest son and his family have been visiting. What a joy! Since my transfusion last Friday, I’ve done well (other than that small dip). I’m looking forward to my lab today to see how strong the blood is! Another celebration with family this weekend. I’m so thankful to God for being here, brother. I hope you are well and finding strength in him too!
