It’s that time of year for college football in America. Each conference is having their media days. Coaches and players speak to the media. The fans of the teams are excited and hopeful for the upcoming season although reality will set in during the season for many fans.
What a contrast to being on team Jesus. If Jesus were to have media days with us present, we would have our testimonies about how Jesus changed our lives and helped us overcome. When Jesus steps up to speak, he would say that he gladly shares his victory with us. He can proclaim that he is the eternal undefeated one and that he defeated death and sin on our behalf. 1st Corinthians 15:57 says:
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Because of Jesus, we can have eternal life, forgiveness, and one day in the future resurrected bodies. We only need to trust in Jesus as our Savior.
So at the Jesus Media Days, those who have come to faith in him would be able to one by one go to the podium and say I am victorious because of Jesus. 🙂
