Yesterday it was a blessing to have dinner with my friend Alexey and his family and also a visiting pastor from Ukraine. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and delicious food. This evening I will go with Alexey, the visiting pastor, and others to a small city in Northern Nebraska, Norfolk, to provide a special worship service for Ukrainian refugees living there.

Alexey shared with Bogdan, the visiting pastor, about my book Jesus Understands Trauma. Bogdan wants to have his daughter who is fluent in English translate my book into Ukrainian. If this happens, it will bring exciting possibilities.
One that I shared with Bogdan is that I would fund raise to purchase a box of books or more to have shipped to him in Ukraine to give away free. When the war ends, I would travel there to meet people and do a book signing.

The other idea is to arrange to have a book signing at the Ukrainian churches here and donate from the royalties to Bogdan’s church to use to help victims of the war. His city is near the war front and missiles have struck apartment buildings in his city.
We ended our time together by praying for Bogdan, his family and his church. We also prayed for Alexey and his family.
I am looking forward to this evening and meeting more refugees from Ukraine. It will mean a late night, but since I am not driving, I can nap in the car. 🙂
What is on your agenda for today?
