Saturday evening it was such a blessing to be part of a special celebration in Norfolk Nebraska for Ukrainian refugees living there. It was a celebration of Ukrainian Independence Day with the focus on Jesus. My friend Alexey, the visiting pastor from Ukraine-Bogdan, my friend Alex from Ukraine and myself shared messages with them. We had worship songs provided by seven young people from Ukraine living in Lincoln.

After the service, we had pizza and fellowship provided Victory Road Free Church that hosted us there. It was a blessing to meet new Ukrainian friends, to see how my friends from Lincoln blessed them, and to see how the church blessed them.

People in Norfolk donated clothing for them which was a huge blessing for people who fled the war with bare minimums.

One side note that is funny. I was the only American in the car caravan we had going there but it is good we had GPS because if had been up to me, the only Nebraskan in the cars, we would have gotten lost. I have lived all of my life in Lincoln the second largest city, so if a place is not off the interstate, I have no clue. My friends Alicia of forhispurpose.blog and Gary of garyfultz.com would laugh at me for that. Alicia lives close to a small town in Nebraska and Gary has traveled around here for his hunting trips.

I am so thankful that God continues to allow me to be a part of his work of showing the love of Jesus to people from other cultures. I am sharing a video of what I shared with my friends about Jesus understanding trauma. The first minutes are not in it but those were mostly introduction.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
