As I reflect on this past weekend, there is so much to be grateful for. Friday evening my friends Alexey and Ruslana invited me for dinner. I met Pastor Bogdan, a visiting pastor from Ukraine, at their home. Saturday evening we had the special service for Ukrainians living in another city.

Sunday morning my group was fun. We had Diego and Camila from Brazil, Luis from EL Salvador, and Carmin and her 9 year old niece Valentina both from Venezuela. Valentina went to children’s Sunday School for the first time. She told me she did not have friends here yet. She made a new friend in Sunday School.

Sunday morning during second service, we had translation into Spanish for the first time. We joined in the worship center for the worship songs and then returned to the classroom where I connected my laptop to the TV so we could watch YouTube live of the pastor’s message with translation by Cristi and her daughters from Mexico.

My weekend was full of blessings, but as always, Monday morning came. Monday mornings usually mean I wake up and want to stay in bed. So this leads me to a question.

Is it possible that God created coffee for us because he knew Monday mornings would be difficult? 🙂

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
