Lily of Lily Down to Earth shared a post yesterday pondering what she had to blog about. She is a wife, mother, and homemaker. My response to her was that as a Christian woman who is a wife, mother, and homemaker, there are women she can reach that I would not reach.

It caused me to think about how as bloggers we all have different perspectives to share. That is part of what makes blogging interesting for me.

I follow travel blogs because I love traveling. I follow bloggers who post about food even though I am a terrible cook, but I do enjoy food. There are bloggers who share their experience as single parents. There are blogs I follow from other countries.

Blogging is a window to the world for me. We each have a different voice to express. I enjoy the interaction and learning from my fellow bloggers.

As for me, I have posted about various topics such as my faith in Jesus, spending time with refugees and immigrants, travel to other countries, living with chronic illness, and mental health issues. My hope is to point people to one person through my posts-Jesus.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. That’s why I love blogs too – it builds a relationship with different folk that I’ll probably never meet, and that makes it so much more interesting then reading just an article!

    1. It does make it more interesting and in the future we can meet in person in heaven if not in this life 🙂

  2. I met you, and a bunch of other truly committed believers here on WP. It’s even led to some ministry opportunities. I’m glad the Lord linked us up, Matt!

  3. What a wonderful surprise! Thanks for sharing my blog. I hope I can reach readers, spread the Gospel, and show that biblical womanhood is wonderful 😊 You’re right, us Christians are a diverse group, with many different backgrounds, able to reach different people and spread the Good News!

  4. I enjoyed this post, and will be swinging by to visit Lily after this! I so agree about us each having something unique and important to offer. Like a microcosm of the Body of Christ, where the same is true in an even broader way 🙂

  7. Hello fellow blogger, thank you for your kind supportive act in flagging up Lily’s blog. I actually came from there to yours! 😃
I like your concept of treating other blogs as one normally does with travel – a window into other worlds. I’ve never really seen it like that. Thanks for giving me that new perspective.
