God’s timing often differs from my timing even when it comes to the time I should wake up. I went to sleep Saturday night about 11pm but at 4am woke up with a worship song loudly in my spirit. So I prayed for some people while laying in bed wishing I could sleep some more. Then I got up to write some more. I finally went back to sleep at 6:30 and slept one more hour.

I wish I could sound super spiritual about it, but many times I am reluctant at such hours to respond wishing instead to just sleep. But God knows something else too. I can often take a nap in the afternoon if need be.
God’s timing is not always convenient but there is perfection to his timing. I wish Jesus would return now because then I would have a resurrected glorified body with no more pain, but as Peter wrote in 2nd Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
So many times in my life God has come through in what seems like the last minute to me. But as Jesus said of prayer in Matthew 6:8
Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
God knows what we need and the best time for it to come through for us.
God loves us and we can trust him to know the best time for anything even if we begrudgingly respond like I do at 4am sometimes.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
