Sunday afternoon while I was sharing the gospel message at the new Ukrainian church, a little surprise visitor came to the front to say hi.

He is the one year old grandson of Alekseyi and Ruslana. He just started walking a few weeks ago. When he falls down, he doesn’t cry. He smiles and gets back up.

Sunday he waddled over to the front of the stage and smiled while I was sharing the gospel message. I smiled back at him and said, “Nathan, як справи” which is Nathan how are you? He smiled some more and then his father came to get him.

His mother leads worship in the church and has a beautiful voice. When she sings, Nathan likes to sing with her. No discernable words yet, but he sings.

Lessons learned from Nathan:

1- When we fall, get back up and keep trying.

2- Receive the gospel of Jesus with joy.

3- Worship Jesus and don’t worry how one sounds. We are only asked to make a joyful noise.

As you can see from the picture, he also likes to explore food. But one never knows where he will take it to. 🙂

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
