December 1st is here already. Christmas is only 23 days away . For me Christmas Eve is Christmas as well. My shopping will be finished and it will take me all of maybe five minutes thanks to online shopping.

December also means I will have a break from teaching starting December 15th. I feel a lot of coffee shop time coming along with a lot of writing.

December is a festive month and means we could possibly have snow. Where I live, it is not guaranteed, but for some bloggers it is a sure bet they will have snow

During December and all of the Christmas activities, my focus will be on the main thing, the most important thing, which is Jesus leaving heaven to be born as a human baby for the purpose of growing to be a man, so he could die for us. Christmas is really about our Savior coming into this life.

What do you enjoy about December?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. well, I love the carols. The real christmas carols, not so much the secular ones, but there are some of those I enjoy. I love a good carol about Jesus though. we don’t get snow, so when I was a kid, and if it was hot, which it usually was at Christmas in Australia, I used to love the epic water fights we used to have. I enjoy going for a drive while the loved ones who are sighted can look at the christmas lights. I love hearing the descriptions and their reaction. Sometimes there isChristmas music playing and it makes for a nice atmosphere. Christmas also reminds me of my mum who passed away a few years ago. She absolutely loved Christmas and would start decorating her house with lights, and I mean lots of lights in november. The local kids used to call her mrs Clause.

    1. I love the old carols about Jesus too. So for you a White Christmas is the sands of the beach not snow 🙂

      1. Hey, that’s a good point, I never thought of that before. So I can still sing I’m dreaming on the White Christmas 🙂

      2. Yes you can
only instead of thinking of skiing or sledding it is surfing 🙂

      3. LOL, the analogy might fall down when I sing the bit about children, listening for Sleigh Bells in the snow. LOL

      4. lol

    1. So for you the song I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas is about the sands of the beach not snow 🙂

      1. 😁 The saying here is Santa rocks up on a surf board rather than a sled.
