Friday morning means I will teach my Newcomer Refugee Welcome Class this morning. At the moment, I am in my coffee shop having a cup of coffee to wake up.
I saw my favorite barista and told her a joke. When I come in, she always has a look on her face of wondering what I am going to say. I asked her about her dog. I always ask about her dog first and then her husband as to how they are doing.
This afternoon will be time for writing. It is time to really get to it with my upcoming book Encounters With The Ancients. So after my morning class, I will return to my coffee shop. Something about this place inspires my writing.
One thing I try to do each day is bring a copy of my book Jesus Understands Trauma with me in case I meet someone God wants me to give a copy to. Speaking of the book, I was excited to see a copy of the e-book version sold in the UK this week. I also plan to send one to a friend in Kenya and a friend in the Philippines. My prayer is for Jesus to bless them.
