Sitting here using a nebulizer is not exactly how I envisioned my first week of Christmas break going, but nevertheless, I am using a nebulizer. Bronchitis is something that doesn’t like to go away so easily. But I am on the mend and hope to be out and about in a few days.

One thing bronchitis brings that is annoying is foggy brain. The writer in me goes in hiding, so my apologies for not keep up this past week with my fellow bloggers.

Yesterday I forgot to follow the advice of David of davidsdailydose.org for cooking my gluten free pizzas. I put on in the oven and did not pay attention to the time while watching movie online. David’s advice is to use the time shown on the online movie or video as a timer. Oops 🙂 It was still edible though.
I am confident, however, that I will be good to go for Christmas. Christmas Eve services at both my church and the Ukrainian church and Christmas Day with my Ukrainian friends.

Christmas is a time of year I used to hate, which sounds odd for someone who has a ministry. I love celebrating Jesus, but the whole holiday thing was never pleasant. I don’t have any of those romanticized Christmas memories from childhood like most do. But when Jesus led me into my ministry with immigrants and refugees, Christmas became more of a time to share the love of Christ in various ways such as inviting friends to join me for Christmas Eve services, Christmas programs at church, visiting refugees on Christmas Day etc. So now I actually look forward to Christmas.
What are your Christmas plans?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
