As we come to a new year, a comforting truth for me is that God already knows what will happen in the coming year. Jesus taught in Matthew 6:8

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him

God already knows our needs, our struggles, and what will happen in the coming year, but he invites us to come to him and pray. He knows that it is good for us to grow in our relationship with him.

When Moses asked God what his name is, God answered by saying- I Am. God exists eternally in the present meaning there is no boundaries of time for God. He created time for us to live in but he is not bound by time. He transcends time to work in our lives. Since God is eternally present, he is with us today, one year from now, five years from now all at the same time.

So even though we do not know where the path is leading, God does. Jesus has promised to be with us and never leave us.

That is my thought for Happy New Year.

May the coming year be full of blessings from God for you.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
