It was a moment that the cuteness factor was off the charts. Nathan, who is fifteen months old, had gotten away from the person who was watching him during the worship service. He made his way to his mom who was leading worship that morning.
Abby didn’t miss a beat and picked him up while leading worship. Nathan had a drumstick in his hand looking around while his mom was leading worship until Grandpa Alekseyi came to took him from Abby.
I smiled as I thought that Nathan will become a worship leader in the future. His life is full of music around him. The moment also caused me to think about how there is something special about little ones being in worship service with their family.
Afterwards, I joked with Abby that I might buy Nathan a toy drum set. She smiled and was okay with the idea. I joked about the same idea with Ruslana, Abby’s mom, that I might buy a toy drum set for her two youngest boys but she was not so much into the idea.
Moments like this make for fun and memories.
