June 1st is Children’s Day in Ukraine and my friends at New Breath Church, the Ukrainian church I am part of, is planning something. They will have an afternoon of celebrating children instead of their normal worship service. There will be fun activities for children.
They will also receive donations to help children affected by the war in Ukraine such as children injured and orphaned. My friend Pastor Alekseyi knows a ministry he trusts that the money will be sent to to help children.
It impresses me that people who have been affected by the war and who do not have much themselves as they rebuild their lives, seek to help children affected by the war.
I will even have a role which will be to sit at a table and share with guests about the ministry helping children. I am looking forward to helping and being a part of helping the innocent victims of the war.
