I feel like after the time I have had with two knee surgeries in seven weeks and the recovery etc., that perhaps a standing ovation would have been in order as I had my return the my coffee shop for the first time in weeks. But alas no drum roll, no applause, but actually, my return was just as I would want it.

I walked, sort of with the walker, to the counter. I was able to tell the baristas two jokes which got smiles and slight chuckles, and now I am sitting at one of the three booths blogging. It feels like home and old times.

It was a blessing to have breakfast with my pastor and his son this morning too. A new restaurant in Lincoln called Early Bird. The Huevos Rancheros tasted great. We had a good time of fellowship. We shared a lot about our faith, our journeys etc.

It just feels good to get out and about. Next week I will have coffee with a fellow blogger but will leave that for next week and leave you guessing. haha

Tomorrow evening we will have the Children’s Day Event that will also raise money for children orphaned or injured from the war in Ukraine.

What is your Friday like?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
