It has been quite the journey the past four months, Four months ago, I had my first surgery. I have been sleeping in a recliner for four months, have not driven for four months except a few days before my second surgery, have been going to physical therapy etc.

I am so grateful that as a teacher, I have been able to teach. I had started to use the projectors connected to the in class computer cart long ago because my handwriting is terrible. So I can sit and use Word or Google Docs projected onto the white board. That way my students do not need to ask what a letter is. 🙂

I am grateful I have been able to get rides to both my church and to New Breath the Ukrainian church. At New Breath, when I share a message, they have set up a seat for me to speak from.

I am grateful for the financial help I have received so far. $785 has been donated to my Go Fund Me and I also received a check for $250 in the mail. That all helps because I have two different surgical hospital bills, surgeon bills, anesthesia bills, physical therapy bills etc. I am also dependent on Uber to go to physical therapy and to teach. My Go Fund Me link is- Matt’s Go Fund Me.

I am grateful that Jesus has helped me through all of this. I look forward to the day that I do not need this cumbersome leg brace or the cane.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
