I love this post by my church. It causes me to realize that my story is not over because Jesus brings me into his story. There is so much hope in this truth.
When struggling with depression, anxiety, difficult times in life, the tempting thought is that it’s over with no hope. But the truth is that because of Jesus bringing us into his story, his eternal story, we can have all hope, solid hope, if we receive Jesus as our Savior.
Your story is not over yet. Your story is not ending. The author of our salvation, Jesus, invites you to come to him and be joined with him in his eternal story.
With Jesus, no matter what our personal history has been, he can make a beautiful story out of the rubble of life. Romans 8:28 gives us this promise.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Your story isn’t over yet. Let Jesus help you make your story beautiful.
