At physical therapy yesterday, signs of my therapy finally coming to an end showed. It has been three months of physical therapy after my second surgery and I had six week between the two surgeries. So when my PT told me yesterday that I am almost to the point of continuing to strengthen my leg by walking, it was welcome news.

Walking is something I have missed for quite some time. I used to enjoy walking because going for walks meant taking time to think things over and listen to Jesus. I don’t mean my short walks to the bus stop. I mean walking on the trails that go through our parks here.
I plan to rejoin the one gym that has an aqua track because I know the times I can go there and hardly anyone else will be there. Walking around that aqua track stimulates my writing. It is also a time to think and listen to Jesus. I miss the aqua track.
When Jesus was on earth, he walked a lot. The disciples walked with him from place to place. Can you imagine walking from place to place with Jesus? We can do so in spirit and prayer, but to have actually physically walked from place to place with Jesus would have been an incredible experience.
Do you enjoy going for walks? I miss it and knowing I will be able to is encouraging.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
