September is here. It has been one of my favorite months because of college football and the beginning of fall.
College football season has arrived, American football for my international readers. 🙂 It is an exciting time of year for many. It is a sign that fall is coming.
Fall is coming. In three weeks, the official first day of fall on the calendar, though the weather does not always confirm it. Fall is my favorite season with the cooler temps. the fall colors on the trees, college football, and Thanksgiving in November.
In the past, the arrival of college football and fall were the most exciting time of the year for me. I still enjoy it, but the excitement is as strong.
What excites me? Knowing that that I will see my friends from Cuba, El Salvador, and Venezuela at my church and sharing Jesus with them this morning. Knowing that I will see my Ukrainian friends this afternoon at New Breath sharing Jesus with them.
A new reason for me to like September this year is that it marks the one year anniversary of New Breath Church. It has been a wonderful blessing to be a small part of New Breath’s ministry.
September is here and I welcome it. 🙂
