My friends at New Breath Church, the Ukrainian church, are blessed to be able to meet in a church building belonging to Oak Lake Church here in my city. Oak Lake has been so gracious letting them meet in their building not having to pay anything.

My friends at New Breath want to put up a volleyball net and make a fire pit for their new youth group to use. Oak Lake told them they can do so. New Breath has about 15 young people in their youth group.
Volleyball might not be for me quite yet, but it would be nice to join them around the fire pit this fall and show them how to make smores and listen to them sing.
We are planning to have a 1st Year Anniversary Celebration the last Sunday in October. It has been quite the year in New Breath’s first year. Seeing brothers and sisters in Christ, who have been through war and come here as refugees, have the passion for sharing Jesus has made an impression on me.
Tomorrow I will see my friends at New Breath, joke with the children about school and homework, listen to them sing in Ukrainian, and enjoy fellowship. It is a highlight for me each week.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
