Yesterday in my post Imagine With Me, I pondered whether we will see our pets in heaven. There is another possibility that has occurred to me.
When considering the creation account in Genesis, we see that God created all things beginning with the heavens and the earth, the stars etc. After creating living animals, lastly, God created human beings in his image. Based on that, we can conclude that God created everything to share with us.
So this leads me to wonder about a possibility. So this is the Science Fiction geek in me, but here goes. I wonder if after Jesus returns, and after we have resurrected glorified bodies, would it be possible to travel to visit the stars, other solar systems and galaxies to enjoy God’s creation? Would we need a space ship?
We do know that we can enjoy God’s creation and be amazed by his artistry and majesty by looking at the stars at night especially if we get away from city lights. We can be inspired by his majesty by enjoying his creation.
