It was perhaps a small sign of progress Sunday afternoon in most people’s minds, but for me it was monumental. It happened while celebrating New Breath Church’s 1 year anniversary.
I was one of the speakers for the celebration. Every Sunday since New Breath started, I would need a stool to sit on while preaching even for the messages that have been short and even before my surgeries because my knee was so bad.
But this past Sunday, during the celebration, while speaking, I was able to stand for the whole time. Sure it was only 15 minutes, but it was 15 minutes that was not possible for a long time.
It was so fitting that it happened while celebrating with my friends at New Breath. Jesus has carried me through the past seven months and my friends at New Breath have helped.
