We are waiting on a possible snow storm here. By possible, where I live, I mean the predictions are rarely correct. But like everyone else, later today the dreaded deed will occur- shopping. Shopping to stock up.

Predictions are something that, for me anyway, should be met with healthy caution. This is not about weather forecasts, which in my area are exaggerated, but this is about predicting when Jesus will return.
Yes, we are given general signs of the end times by Jesus in the gospels. But Jesus also said in Acts 1:7-8
He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
So we do not know the exact time of Jesus’s return. We are told general signs to look for. But Jesus redirected their focus from when he would set up his kingdom on earth to going out to tell the nations about him.

It would be beyond wonderful if Jesus returned this year. I feel quickened in my spirit about the possible return of Jesus in my lifetime. But it should motivate me to share him with others. The desire to see others be ready is on my heart and mind.
So for this year, my desire is to continue sharing Jesus’s love and that he is The Savior and to be willing to be led by Jesus into new ways of doing so.
By the way, I will let you know if snow actually happens here. 🙂
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
