January 6th is my earthly father’s birthday. He passed away in April 2009. We did not have a good relationship most of his life, but we experienced reconciliation because of Jesus. Jesus blessed me with the experience of helping my earthly father come to peace with Jesus and then basically being his pastor the last 14 months of his life.

I made my first video recording on my new YouTube channel- chatwithjesusluvsall- and want to share it. It is my first endeavor doing so, so please forgive a few recording issues.

I hope this video encourages others who struggle with family issues. Please click like on the video and subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

      Bonne Annee

  2. I’m so glad you were able to find reconciliation with him 🙏 My father died when I was little, so I don’t remember him.

    1. So sorry about your dad. Has it helped having God as your heavenly father?

      1. Thank you 🌹 And yes, absolutely. Jesus filled that gap in my heart like no human ever could 😊

  3. It’s a great first video, Matt, with an engaging and relevant story. Thank you for sharing it.

With the forgiveness v trust issue I often think of King David when Saul realises David could have killed him but didn’t – David forgives him, but he keeps his distance and knows not to go back with him!

Praise God that you were able to honour God and honour your father in this way.

    1. Thank you Dawn. David is a wonderful example of forgiveness v trust

  4. Happy Monday, brother! Thank you for sharing about the reconciliation with you Father. What a blessing that you had the last 14 months to share the truth and love of our Savior! Hallelujah! Ah, forgiveness and reconciliation. I understand! It was great to watch you and hear the story told, as well as written. God bless you, Matt!! Thank you🙏🏼!

    1. Thank you little sister. I hope to do some interview podcast style videos in the future using Zoom with fellow bloggers. Would love to do one with you 🙂

      1. Aww, thank you, dear brother. Oh my goodness, I believe our hearts are aligned! I think our collaboration is a Christ planned idea! I’ll have to email you when I’m able. I’m going to go and help out in a 4th grade room today. I’m sending lots of blessings and prayers.

      2. 4th grade is a fun age. Blessings 🙂

      3. One of my favorite grades, Matt!! Woot woot! Blessings to you, too! Finn is sad—I’m leaving her alone. She’s so cute and funny. God is so good! 🐾 YOU have a blessed day.

      4. poor Finn. She will need some doggie treats when you get home

      5. Poor Finn! I’m
Home and she’s spoiled rotten! And so deserving of it lol. Today sharpened my skills (and made me exhausted! ). I’ll never stop learning. I pray your day has been blessed too!

      6. Good day- taught two classes and spent a little time at the coffee shop

      7. A perfect day, brother! Yay!

  5. Matt, I appreciate how you continue to explore ways to share the love of Jesus. Best wishes with your channel.

    1. Thank you Richard. I hope to do interviews with fellow bloggers as the channel grows a bit more. Perhaps I can interview you using Zoom 🙂

Have you recovered from the holidays?

      1. I’ve at least shifted gears! The New Year has come in with some unexpected changes. My daughter wants to know if we can get a refund on 2025? How about you?

      2. I have started back to teaching but still want time off lol

  7. Glad you made peace with your Dad. Welcome to YouTube!

    1. Thank you little sister 🙂
How are you? Have you recovered from the holidays?

      1. You’re welcome. I’m well. Yes, and it’s hard to believe the holidays have come and gone so quickly. My tree is still up though. How are you? Are you recovered?

      2. For me it is more about getting back into the swing of things after three weeks of time off lol

  8. This was a blessing, Matt. You have used your past to grow in the Lord and to share wisdom with us. Blessings on this new YouTube venture!

    1. Thank you Patty. It is a blessing to share about Jesus 🙂
How are you and your family?

      1. We’re all doing well. Still iced in although my husband got the car and truck de-iced today. That was a chore! We are safe and blessed, though.

  9. Praise God for reconciliation.

    1. Amen
It was God’s grace at work
