Taya is best known for singing Oceans by Hillsong. I love this song as a call to worship. When I think about worship, I think about being in the presence of Jesus. Often during worship, ideas come to me for ministry, writing, and more. Worship songs lift me up, invigorate me, and encourage me.

Worship is adoring God, adoring Jesus. It is expressing our love through music. It is reciprocal. God sings over us too. Zephaniah 3:17 says:

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Have you experienced that song in your spirit? A worship song in your spirit at times?

It is a wonderful way to wake up in the morning in the Lord’s presence or to be encouraged during the day.

    I know what you mean by waking up with a song of worship. The counselor at my former church, who taught a class in biblical dream interpretation, said that’s your spirit singing. 😊💕

    I’ve always loved her voice and spirit. I’ve followed her since her days at Hillsong, and now in her solo career, I can only hope she continues to reach people through her worship music and love for the Lord.

      She does have a wonderful voice. So far all her songs in her solo career glorify Jesus

    God’s peace be with you, Matt. Worship interacts with every fiber of one’s faith. I’ve been known to listen to “Oceans” while pedaling on my stationary bike.
