My video on YouTube is about Jesus being a refugee in his childhood during his earthly life and what that means to us.

Theme verses

Matthew 2:13-16

When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.”

So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.

I also discuss Ruth and Rehab and how they relate to refugees.

      1. You’re welcome, big brother! Thank you! I’m so happy we’re prayer warriors and family! 🥰🙏🏼

  2. It’s about the attitude of the heart. Not policy. Our High Priest was a refugee. I love all the truth and wisdom you shared. From Ruth to Mother Teresa’s quote. May our heart look upon the Refugees as Jesus did.(and does!).
Thank you for all you’re doing for the thousands in your area. God bless them and you! I hate what they’ve been through and suffered.🙏🏻

    1. It is such a blessing to share Jesus’s love with them.

You do the same for the children you teach when you sub

      1. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❣️❣️

  3. Great Study, Matt!! 💕I think the list of refugees in the Bible could go on and on. In fact Abraham, Isaac, Jacob…..Moses/Joshua, and of course the Israelites-who roamed in the wilderness for 40 years. Looks like God definitely has a heart for the refugee💕 The Holy Spirit tells many of their stories in the Old Testament, and then we finally find our Rest in Jesus in the New Testament! How Cool 🆒

    1. Our rest in Jesus- wonderful truth and thought to hold on to
