Today is Ash Wednesday which begins Lent in some churches. It is the start of the Easter season when we remember Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, so we could be forgiven, and his resurrection when he defeated death.

Simon of Cyrene is the man who was forced to carry the cross of Jesus. I want to share this video of a drama monologue I wrote some years ago about Simon carrying the cross.
