This morning my monthly wrap up will occur as I say goodbye to my students in my Refugee Welcome Class. It always feels like an honor to be their first teacher in America. They learn some English and some things about life where we live such as what to do if there is a tornado warning.

Each morning in prayer, my first request is for strength and help to be a blessing for my students. Their English level is low, so it makes sharing with them about Jesus not possible. But they realize I am a Christian, so hopefully how I interact with them reflects Jesus to them.

They are about to experience how crazy March can be in Nebraska with summer temperatures today that will mean airconditioning needed. Tomorrow will be more spring like with a cool rainy day. Sunday will a delight with rain and snow mixed.

It is a blessing to be their teacher for the month, their first teacher in America, and now they move on. Where life takes them God knows, so I lift them up in prayer.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
