Sitting with my friends Sergei and Tatiana at New Breath Sunday after worship it finally dawned on me. I was trying to help them find a doctor that would accept Medicaid and new patients. They needed a Family Doctor. Then it hit me, and I don’t why it didn’t do so earlier.

For several years, 2008 to 2015, the Lord blessed me with helping a group of teens from Vietnam. We met on Saturday and Sunday. One of the young people qualified for the Health Sciences Scholarship at our university here. She went on to Medical School and this past year joined a clinic as a Family Doctor. We also just so happen to follow each other on Facebook.

So Sunday afternoon, the idea hit me to ask her. So while sitting with Sergei and Tatiana I messaged with my friend from Vietnam. My friends from Ukraine can make an appointment with my friend from Vietnam.

They come from vastly different cultures, they came here as immigrants, and now one will be helping the other two. Have a ministry long enough the past can connect with the present.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. That is so great, I love when people help one another out like that.

  2. I understand “dot-connecting” I think its as close as we can get to having a “super power” especially if we give the credit where credit is due, to God

    1. The credit definitely is God’s because he has led all the way

  3. Interesting connection made

  4. That’s great! I am glad you remembered her.
