My classes at the college start again this week after a two week break. It is always enjoyable for me to meet new students and see returning ones. But this week will also be the first time I see my fellow instructors since our director passed away. She passed away the first week of our two week break.
I am praying for opportunities to share with them. Opportunities to share Jesus and the eternal hope that anyone can have when they come to Jesus.
It will feel strange, however, to be back in the building realizing that I cannot stop by her office to chat, share a joke, and share our mutual love of languages.
There is one specific fellow instructor that keeps coming to my mind as I pray about seeing my colleagues again this week, so I hope to see him this evening. I usually arrive before the others and spend time on the computer in the adjunct office. He usually is the second one to arrive.
So two cups of coffee this morning, time with Jesus, and a semi healthy breakfast, it is time to embark on this first day back at the college.
