Sitting with my hands around my coffee mug, I can feel the warmth of my coffee mug. Listening to worship music, I can feel the warmth of the presence of Jesus. People have come to mind to pray for, Karla, Hannah, Gary’s daughter, and more.

Being in the presence of Jesus while praying, I wonder what it must have been like to walk around with Jesus while he was doing miracles, teaching, and interacting with people.

Then I wonder what it must have felt like that first day after Good Friday. Jesus’s body in a tomb they felt all hope had been lost even though Jesus repeatedly told them what was going to happen. The disciples were in hiding and the women were in mourning. But Sunday was coming.

That feeling of all hope is lost is a feeling I can relate to. I have felt it so many times in my life, but Sunday was coming in my life. All hope is never lost when we have Jesus.

Jesus defeated death. He rose again. Take that truth in and then rethink if al hope is lost. If Jesus defeated death, which he did, can he help you in your all hope is lost circumstances?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  2. It is that feeling of Sunday is coming that lends hope in the darkest moments. It is a sense that everything will be alright once again, if we keep our hope in Jesus, who knows how to turn mourning into dancing. Just ask Mary Magdalene! Wonderfully encouraging post, my brother in Christ.
