This past Saturday it was a blessing to be able to have lunch and then coffee with a pastor friend of my friend Pastor Alekseyi. Alekseyi’s friend was visting from Ukraine. He is visting different Ukrainian churches here in the USA sharing about his church’s ministry in the war zone in Ukraine.

He showed me pictures of his church that had been damaged by the bombing. They continue to worship inside the church and continue to have ministry. It is a reality so vastly different than the one I experience here in the Midwest United States.

He showed me videos of their ministry for children and a Christian camp they had for children in the war zone bringing Christ’s love to the children.

He showed me pictures of his van that was dented from a bomb tipping it over. His van has a red cross on it. He uses it to bring food to people while sharing Christ’s love.

He left my city today to go visit the other churches, but he will return here in early July. So I will try to do a fundraiser to help his ministry in the war zone.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
