I love Katy Nicole’s music/songs. Her latest song Thorns express what we all feel at times the struggles of life and finding hope in God even though we ourselves are so imperfect.
Listening to her song brought to mind Romans 7:25 where Paul expresses his gratitude for God, for Jesus at the end of Romans 7 where he writes about the struggle of seeking to live for Jesus.
Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
We all have scars just as roses have thorns. We are imperfect people God loves. There is beauty in living for Jesus. There is beauty in being created in the image of God. But there are also the negative aspects of living in this world, this life and struggling with sin, with trials, with hardships. Jesus is our Savior and for that I am grateful.
