So took a few days, okay several days, off from blogging and most everything as my summer break wound down. Nothing monumental on my part just relaxed a lot. My classes started up again yesterday. It has been fun to meet my new students.

Getting back into the swing of it all has been a bit sluggish mostly because at my age, the discovery of the joy of being lazy has occurred . But time to dust off and be ready to share the love of Jesus.

One of my students this morning shared something with me that showed me why I never want to retire from teaching and my ministry. He told me, “I wish I could study with you for one year because you explain so clearly and are so kind.” I thanked him and after class thanked Jesus. My student’s observation also showed me why it is so important for me to start my day in prayer asking Jesus to help me be a blessing for my students.

So here is to another year of teaching at my college. This month begins my 25th year of teaching there.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

      How are you?

      1. I am dealing with issues from my fall in Vienna. One tooth died and it had a root canal, and I am waiting to add a permanent crown in a week. But, there are other issues, but they can’t be handled until this forst situation clears. So, I haven’t felt like blogging. I didn’t realize how bad the fall was, but I am thankful to the Lord that I didn’t break any bones. I plan to try to start back blogging tomorrow.
