She sat down next to me in worship service Sunday. During the worship songs, Jesus prompted me to give her a copy of my book Jesus Understands Trauma. So during the announcements, I looked at her and said, “You do not need to share anything with me, but I felt God wants me to give you this book I wrote.” She looked at it and said, “I have had trauma.”

Worship music resumed, so she stood to worship. I stayed seated and prayed while listening to the worship.
After worship service was over, she confided that she has been clean from Meth addiction and wants a better life for her and her kids. I shared about our Care Ministry and that she could meet with a woman to have a friend walk through it all with her.

She spontaneously hugged me and I whispered, “Jesus loves you baby sister.” She hugged even stronger as if she needed that comfort. We walked out to the lobby and I showed her the table where the Care Ministry was. Then I asked her to come see me at worship again.
It was one of those moments of a Divine Appointment that cause me to realize Jesus is not finished with me yet. Gratitude filled me and then I went to New Breath to see my Ukrainian friends.
It was a wonderful Sunday.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
