We do not need to lose heart in this life because Jesus is with us. Life can get hard but this life is temporary. Jesus is eternal and wants to share his eternal blessings with us.

Theme passage- 2nd Corinthians 4:16-18. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

    Amen, brother! There have been times I’ve wanted to “throw in the towel”. I’ve been praying for you, Matt. I understand your 30 year journey of all the challenges. You inspire me. JESUS is the name! We will not lose heart! Just at the time I would feel like giving up–Jesus stepped in. I surrender to him daily (and many times, hourly). I stand with you in faith and hope. We will keep our focus on Jesus and know what our eternal destiny will offer us! God bless you!
