The other day as I was watching videos on YouTube, a contrast came to mind about the vastly huge difference between God and myself. An ad for St. Judes Children’s Hospital continued to come up between videos and it was the same one. When I see such an ad, I normally pray for the child they show. But it was the same ad repeatedly, so after the 7th or 8th time, I stopped praying showing me I am a faulty human.

The contrast? God never tires of hearing from us. He invites us to come to him and yes when it is the same prayer repeatedly. God always wants to hear from his children.

As 1 Peter 5:7 says- Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

All would include all of the time. God wants to hear from us all the time and does not tire of hearing from us.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. I’m so thankful that God always bends His ear to hear me.

  2. And He doesn’t ever pretend to listen while being preoccupied with something else.

  3. 🙋🏻‍♂️I’m raising my hand here, as a fellow faulty human. It sounds like YouTube is broken, too—serving up the same ad to you over and over.
Thank God, His strength is made perfect in weakness.

    1. Thankfully he never tires of hearing from us

  4. I was just thinking about this the other day! How we can pray the same prayer requests and petitions and He will still listen. No prayer is too much for God.

Amen 🙏 God never gets tired of us. 1 Peter 5:7 is one of my favorite scriptures, and I don’t know how many times I’ve shared it with family and friends.
