Saturday morning sitting drinking coffee while listening to worship music, it is the best way to start my day. My morning will be spent with my Ukrainian friends during our English conversation class at New Breath the Ukrainian church.
Today will feel a bit like a reset for me after a week of finishing my evening classes for the quarter and feeling left stunned by seeing the video of the poor young Ukrainian woman being killed on a train. But Jesus has opportunities for me today and this weekend. Opportunities to share his love and his gospel message.
Jesus gave me a reminder yesterday of what a blessing it is to have such opportunities. A woman who was struggling left a poignant comment on my latest YouTube video about hope in our darkest hour sharing she had felt lost since the death of her husband two years ago and my video reminded her Jesus has a purpose for her. We don’t know who will be touched by things we do and share. We do know who connects the dots-Jesus.
So on to my Saturday and my weekend and trusting Jesus to connect those dots of opportunities.
