When I ponder how Jesus sees us, what he sees when he looks at us his creation, I think of Matthew 9:36.
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd”
Then two realizations come to mind. First is that is how Jesus saw me before I came to know him as my Savior. It is simply the truth that anything positive about my life is because of Jesus. It is because of Jesus that I teach and have a ministry.
The second realization is that how Jesus sees us, is how I should see people who do not know Jesus as their Savior as being in need of compassion and in their lost state needing Jesus. So interacting with others, the foremost thing on my mind should be they are people Jesus loves and died for to be their Savior.
In these troubled times, my hope is to reflect Jesus to others.
